Dis School Rockz

Hello, everyone. It was really good to see so many of you during African Arts Week, I'm sure you've all grown about 10cm since I left! Life is still wonderful at Savile Park. We've actually won our first netball match and we've done loads of new sports like street dancing. Last week I went on the residential with y6 and had a fantastic time, the sun shone for us. Everyone here works so hard, it's amazing. We hope that everyone has achieved their target in their SATs, they really deserve to. How did you Y6s get on with your SATs? We thought the reading was too long to do in the time, but otherwise they weren't too bad, were they?The teachers here are all good fun and make me very happy with their laughter and enjoyment of life and children. We've all got nick names and jokes which nobody else would understand but we think are hilarious. Do come and put a comment on our website, especially as you've now met some of the children and staff. We'd love to keep in touch with you. Love to you all. We were unsure of where we were going to send william after nursery, but have decided to keep here at Luddenden Dene. He absolutly loves it here, he has become confident and seems so grown up . Hello everyone, how are you? I love this new-look website. I'm having a brilliant time at Savile Park, my new school. The children are really enthusiastic and energetic. We've done loads already, including setting up a netball team, holding an open day, having a talent show, performing with a rap poet, making special lanterns and working with Eureka on a new gallery; let alone ordinary lessons!! Because some of the children have hearing impairments I'm trying to learn some simple signing: I'm not doing very well and keep getting mixed up telling the children I'm really excited when I meant to say sad. You can have a look at our website if you'd like (just type Savile Park into Google). I do miss everyone at Luddenden Dene, though, (especially Class 2) and think about you a lot. There are some plans afoot and, hopefully, we will all be seeing each other soon. (Mr Day and I will tell you when everything is sorted out). Have a good time next half term and hope to see you soon.
